Quick English Scones

2 1/2 cups biscuit mix
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
1 egg, beaten
milk, added to the egg to make 1/2 cup
Preheat pan to 375. Put biscuit mix in bowl with sugar. Blend in melted butter. Add egg and milk. Knead lightly and roll out 1/2-inch thick. Cut in triangle. Bake on griddle or electric fry pan about 5 minutes each side.
