no luck with any recipe even marilyn's

i have tried making marilyn's recipe many times and everytime i do it, they look nice at first in the oven then sugar bubbles start to appear, and it just spreads out everywhere, i don't know why i get the same results all time, they don't look like a small cake-cookie like the picture on their website, it looks like a melted harden caramel something.

i love baking sweets and i've been searching everywhere for this recipe with no success, ever since i saw them on the oprah show (they looked so good) i've been hooked and i've never tried them ..... please help what am i doing wrong do you guys get the same results as i do???

thanks and lets keep trying till we crack this T-cake mistery
