Re: Tennessee T-cakes flavoring

I, too, have been searching for this recipe for years. For those who have tasted them, what flavor do you think is added. Amaretto is close, but it is not a liqueur. Is there a spice/flavoring that is similar? Note: the company rep told me at a function one time that there is no chocolate or alcohol in them. Hope this helps they're wonderful.
