The first time I made Marilyn's recipe for the Tennessee t-cakes, I made glass instead. I kept thinking the sugar would melt, and it did, but it still made glass. So I used a good bit more butter - 1 1/3 sticks. They did very well this time. I do not know what the original t-cakes taste like, but these were very chewy with a fantastic taste. I used a silicone pan and they popped right out. 1 recipe makes about 30 minimuffins. I didn't quite use as much batter as Marilyn suggested - 2/3, maybe, rather than 3/4 full. Susan
