Recipe: Chicken in a Garden (chicken pie using French fried onions)

CHICKEN IN A GARDEN

1 (9 inch) Mrs. Smith's pie crust, baked
2 cups cooked chicken, diced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, cooked
1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions, divided use

Bake pie shell according to package directions; set aside.

Combine chicken, vegetables, and soup. Add 1/2 can French fried onions. Pour mixture into baked pie shell.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Sprinkle remaining onions over top. Bake 5 minutes longer.
