Recipe: Vegetables Stuffed with Herbed Cream Cheese
Appetizers and SnacksVEGETABLES STUFFED WITH HERBED CREAM CHEESE
VEGETABLES FOR STUFFING:
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Celery stalks
Cucumbers (hollowed out)
Small mushroom caps
FOR THE FILLING:
1 (8 oz) package fat-free cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup grated fat-free Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon fatfreee milk
1/2 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Prepare the vegetables of your choice.
In a small bowl mix the ingredients for the filing together.
Fill a pastry bag with the cream cheese mixture and fill the vegetables. (You could put the cream cheese mix into a zip-type bag and cut off the corner; squeeze the filling out).
Serve the vegetables chilled.
