BISQUICK MUFFINS
1 egg
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or margarine, or butter, melted
Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
Grease bottoms only of 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2x1 1/4 inches, or line with paper baking cups.
Beat egg slightly in medium bowl; stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened.
Divided batter evenly among cups.
Bake until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes; cool.
High altitude directions (3500 to 6500 feet): Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease 14 muffin cups. Stir 2 tablespoons Gold Medal all-purpose flour into baking mix.
Makes 12 muffins
