SESAME FRIED CHICKEN
1 frying chicken, cut up
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. and 1/2 cup flour, divided use
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash ground black pepper
Wesson oil to depth of 1-inch in large fry pan
Dip chicken in egg combined with milk and 1 tablespoon flour, then in mixture of sesame seeds, the remaining 1/2 cup flour and seasonings.
Place chicken in moderately hot (350 degrees F) oil. Cover, cook 10 to 15 minutes. Turn when golden brown, reduce heat. Finish cooking (about 10 minutes) without lid.
Makes 6 servings
