Recipe: Peanut Butter-Molasses Cookies (Grandma's Molasses) (using chunky peanut butter, peanuts, and chocolate chips)

PEANUT BUTTER-MOLASSES COOKIES

8 Tbsp. (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
3/4 cup Grandma's Molasses
1 egg
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup each chopped peanuts and chocolate chips (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream butter, peanut butter and molasses until light. Beat in egg; set aside.

In separate bowl, mix flour with remaining ingredients. Gradually combine this into butter mixture. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Flatten tops with fork tines.

Bake 8 minutes. Remove and cool.

Makes 2 dozen cookies
