REFRIED BEAN BAKE
1 (16 oz) can nonfat refried beans
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped fine
4 egg whites
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided use
1 tsp chili powder
1 clove garlic crushed
Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.
Mix beans, onion, green pepper, egg whites, 3/4 cup of the cheese, chili powder, and garlic clove.
Pour into ungreased 9x9x2-inch pan; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake until hot and firm, about 30 minutes.
Makes 4 servings
