BANANA CREAM DELIGHT
FOR THE CRUST:
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup finely ground walnuts
FOR THE FILLING:
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, evenly divided
3 cup milk
2 pkg (3.4 oz each) banana cream flavor instant pudding
2 bananas
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In medium bowl, cream margarine and flour. Add walnuts and blend thoroughly. Press into bottom of an ungreased 9x13-inch baking
dish.
Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool.
Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar, then add 4 oz frozen whipped topping, and blend. Spread mixture over cooled crust.
In medium bowl, whisk milk and (dry) pudding mix for 2 minutes. Pour over cheese mixture.
Slice bananas and place on top of pudding. Carefully spread remaining 4 oz frozen whipped topping over all. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
