Recipe: Baked Apples (crock pot)

BAKED APPLES

4 large baking apples, Rome or York
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Peel, core, and cut apples in halves. Place in Slow Cooker. Drizzle with lemon juice and butter. Sprinkle with sugar and spices.

Cover and cook on HIGH 3-4 hours or until tender.

Yield: 4 servings
