Recipe(tried): Broccoli, Cheese and Ham Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast and BrunchBROCCOLI, CHEESE AND HAM BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
12 slices bread, frozen
3/4 lb Kraft Old English Cheese, sliced
2 cups cubed or shaved ham
1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
6 eggs, slightly beaten
3 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
Grated Parmesan cheese
Paprika
Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish. Use biscuit cutter to cut bread into circles. Set aside.
Layer 1: Use bread scraps to cover bottom of dish. Layer 2: cheese slices. Layer 3: ham. Layer 4: broccoli. Layer 5: circles of bread.
Combine eggs, milk, dry mustard and salt; mix. Pour over layered ingredients making sure the bread slices are saturated. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
WHEN READY TO BAKE:
Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes. Take out and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake for another 5 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
