Recipe: Cottage Mashed Potatoes (using cottage cheese and instant mashed potatoes, 1970s)

Potato Buds mashed potatoes (enough for 4 servings)
1 cup cottage cheese
1 tbsp. chopped green onion
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1 tbsp. butter
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 1 quart casserole.
Prepare mashed potatoes as directed for 4 servings except omit milk.
Fold in cottage cheese, onion, and dill weed instead. Turn into casserole dish; dot with butter.
Bake 15 minutes.
Makes 4 servings
