This is actually a family recipe that has been handed down through the generations on my Dad's side.
TOMATO SOUP (TOMATO GRAVY)
1 quart home canned diced tomatoes (or 2 cans from store)
2 small hot peppers, diced (whatever you have)
1/2 cup sugar (I use a scant 1/2 cup)
Mix all in a medium saucepan and heat until bubbly.
Serve over peas and or cornbread.
If you like it really spicy, just add more peppers to it!
