Recipe: Mexican Cheese Bites (using biscuit mix)

1 1/2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
1/4 cup dairy sour cream
1 egg
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese (4 ounces)
taco sauce or salsa (to serve) (optional)
Mix baking mix, sour cream, egg, and chilies. Stir in cheese. Cover and refrigerate up to 4 hours.
WHEN READY TO BAKE:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes.
Serve with taco sauce or salsa if desired.
Makes about 4 dozen appetizers
