Chicken & Rice Dinner W/Cheese
Yield: 4 Servings
1 tb oil*
4 sm boneless skinless chicken breast halves
10 3/4 oz Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
1 1/2 c water
2 c instant White Rice; uncooked
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. paprika
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets; thawed
1 c Kraft Natural Shredded Cheddar Cheese
*Increase oil to 2 tablespoons if using a regular
skillet.** Or use 1/4 lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA
Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread.
HEAT oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high
heat. Add chicken; cover. Cook 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from skillet. ADD water, soup and seasonings to skillet; stir. Bring to boil. STIR in rice and broccoli. Top with chicken and cheese; cover. Cook on low heat 5 minutes. Garnish with bell pepper strips, if desired.
