Recipe: Honey-Raisin Baked Zapples (Microwave recipe)

Honey-Raisin Baked Zapples

4 tart green apples
8 teaspoons raisins
4 teaspoons honey
4 teaspoons butter
Cinnamon red-hot candies
Whipped Cream

Core apples, leaving bottoms intact. Fill centers with 2 teaspoons raisins, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon butter and 8 red-hot candies each. Place apples in a round microwave baking dish, cover tightly.

Zap four minutes on High in microwave.

Rotate each apple 180 degrees and rotate dish 180 degrees. Cover and zap four more minutes on high. Let sit, covered for five minutes.

Spoon juices back into centers, garnish with whipped cream, more candies and raisins. Eat' em hot!
