BARBECUE SAUCE

2 cups chopped onions
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
2 (5 oz.) bottles Worcestershire sauce
2 bottles catsup
1 small jar mustard
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
1 cup vinegar

Saute onions in melted butter. When onions are wilted, add remaining ingredients. Simmer over very low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Will keep for a long time in the fridge.
