Sweet-and Sour Red Cabbage
Serves 6

6 cups shredded red cabbage
1/2 cup grated apple
3/4 cup water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. butter

Cook the cabbage, apple, water and salt over low heat 15 minutes. mix the flour and vinegar until smooth and add to the cabbage with the sugar and butter. cook 15 minutes longer.
