Recipe: Molasses Magic Hard Sauce and Fruit Hard Sauce (Brer Rabbit Molasses, 1956)
Desserts - AssortedMOLASSES MAGIC HARD SAUCE
1/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. Brer Rabbit Molasses
1 tsp. vanilla
a pinch of salt
Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar, molasses, vanilla and a pinch of salt.
VARIATION:
FRUIT HARD SAUCE:
Toss in a cup of crushed berries, peaches or drained fruit cocktail.
Makes 1 1/2 cups
