Eugene T. Mahoney State Park Zebra Brownies

Nonstick spray coating
1 package brownie mix -- 15-22 oz
1 package cream cheese -- 8 oz softened
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup powdered sugar -- sifted
1 package white cake mix -- 1 layer size
2 tablespoons water
A cream cheese and white cake layer swirled through a pan of brownies provides the zebra stripes. Bakers at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park near the town of Ashland, in eastern Nebraska, can't bake enough of them!
Spray a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with nonstick coating; set aside.
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer for 30 seconds. Gradually beat in the milk and powdered sugar till well combined. Add the cake mix and water. Beat well.
Spoon the mixture atop brownie batter. Gently lift and fold brownie batter to marble into the white batter.
Bake in a 350 oven for 25 to 30 minutes or till toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
Using a wet knife, cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
