Granny got from Violet Hudson, 6/68
2 sticks oleo (margarine)
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups Rice Krispies
1/4 tsp garlic powder
pinch of salt
(I always add: hot sauce or cayenne to taste)
Mix all ingredients well. Make into small balls and press flat with a fork on a well greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F about 15 minutes.
