Snappy Cheese Appetizers and Cheese Straws

Granny's note:
"beautiful fall day in Paducah, KY. Norfleet and I having our fall visit with Mary (aunt Mary). Our pecan nut-picking visit. We all sent yesterday in Hickman with Rugh Morgan Major. Monday, Nov. 14, 1996"

2 cups pie crust mix
4 oz. pkg (1 cup) shredded sharp natural cheese
1/4 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp paprika
30 small stuffed olives

Prepare pie mix according to directions thoroughly mixing in cheese, mustard, paprika, till mixture forms a ball. Divide dough in half. Using one half, wrap about 1 tsp of dough around each olive. Roll other half out on floured surface to 12x8 inch rectangle. With pastry wheel or knife cut sticks 1/2 inch wide and 4 inches long. Place olive balls and cheese sticks on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425F, 10-12 minutes or till golden brown.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen balls and 4 dozen sticks.
