Almond Butterballs (Bisquick)

1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup finely chopped nuts
1 1/4 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine -- softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3 tablespoons boiling water
1 egg white -- slightly beaten
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar and nuts; set aside. Combine baking
mix, butter and flavorings in small bowl. Add water; stir vigorously until
dough forms a ball and cleans the bowl...dough will be puffy and
soft...Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in egg white and then in
nut mixture. Place about 2 inches apart of ungreased baking sheet. Bake
10-12 minutes. Immediately remove from baking sheet. Makes 2 dozen.
