Recipe: Spinach Squares

Spinach Squares

Housewarming party at my house

Even folks who don't like spinach have liked this recipe

4 oz butter
3 eggs
1 c plain flour
1 c milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 lb grated Monterey jack cheese
4 c spinach or 3 boxes frozen (thawed, drained)
3-4 tbsp chopped onion
1 tsp Italian herbs
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together.
Spoon into 9x15 pan
Bake 350F for 35-45 minutes until center is cooked
Cut into squares
Serve hot, warm or room temperature
